Hi, I’m Deirdre — I’m 47, a holiday dreamer, planner, and lover of all things travel. The highlight of my year has always been planning my next getaway, whether it’s a chilled break in the sun with good food and wine or a city adventure.
Friends and family call me the “go-to holiday planner,” and TravelFabulous is my way of sharing that passion with you. 🌍 The Full Story
I’m Deirdre, and if there’s one thing that lights me up, it’s travel. For as long as I can remember, my year has been built around one big question: “Where’s my next trip?” Like many of you, I work hard, and what keeps me motivated through the day-to-day is looking forward to my annual leave — that precious time when I get to pack a bag, board a plane, and discover somewhere new.
Even when I’m at home, I can’t help myself — I love browsing holidays, scrolling through destinations, and imagining where I’ll wander next. My friends and family know me as the “holiday planner.” If someone’s looking for the perfect break, whether it’s a sunny escape, a city weekend, or a relaxing trip with good food and wine, I’m the one they call. And honestly? I love it.
TravelFabulous grew out of that passion. I wanted a space where I could share not just the destinations I love, but also the practical tips, inspiration, and encouragement for women like me — women in their 40s (and beyond) who still crave adventure, but want to travel in comfort, style, and with a touch of fabulousness.
